THE ICE CREAM BARN SERVING WINEGARS ICE CREAM

Winegar’s ice cream is super-premium handcrafted ice cream. We make all our ice cream in small batches. How small you ask? Our ice cream is made 9 gallons at a time. That’s equal to 36 quarts, 72 pints, or about 288 scoops at a time. The process for making our ice cream is the same as using one of the old-fashioned hand crank freezers (only it’s a little bigger), and we don’t have to add the ice and rock salt. We started this way almost 30 years ago, and while it’s a lot of work, we think it’s what makes our ice cream so good.

It's a nice place for fruit, but it is so much more! Country crafty things, foods, ice cream cones, and local merchandise! When I step into this place, the world melts away for a while and I leave with the content feeling that I lingered at a place that feels like a country vacation! Service is so friendly, just like family!

This is the cutest local Yakima store. There are many choices for local jarred foods and household items.

To be most specific, Barrett Orchards is the best place for Peaches and Nectarines. We travel couple of hundred miles each year at peach harvest time to buy peaches and nectarines. In specific, Elberta Peaches and White Nectarines. Their prices are good, but best is the quality. Always sweet and delicious. In addition the service is good and the help is friendly. We have never been disappointed and will be back next year as well.
